Raised in Chicago, Bobby Woods spent his childhood surrounded by the enchanting sounds of Gospel, Soul, Blues and R&B. In his teens he listened to the sounds of Stax and Atlantic over the airwaves, heard all the stars and wanted to be like them.

Working in the Jazz, Soul, Blues, R&B and Reggae genres, Bobby has gone on to tour the world as a Singer, Songwriter and Bandleader winning many musical accolades along the way. He has also met and worked with many of his musical heroes including Marvin Gaye, Ray Charles and Stevie Wonder.

Currently resident in Birmingham, UK Bobby is the consummate professional musician and can scale his performance to fit your budget and the size of the venue, entertaining you with anything from a duo, right up to a full band.
